well a lad we know got his gt dynoed yesterday .heres the setup he has a mines ecu, sard fpr.and running front mount and tdo4 setup.5e cams.he is running 1 bar of boost .funny looking dyno sheet think he made 216bhp .the fella that ran it on the dyno said the jagged dips was because he was running the sard fpr confussing the ecu im not to sure myself so i said i would throw up the sheet here for you guys.looks like a bad setup to me car was never tune or on a rollers till yesterday

think the fellas fpr is setup to 4bar...i told him to put standerd fpr back on might help the ecu

is that not really high? i tho most if not all jap plug an play ecu's run slightly rich an would only use fpr to trim fuel slightly?

depends jjay no1 will hav the same they all differ that why u hada check them on a wideband rather than set it to x an away you go!

im think you dont need the fpr with the mines ecu could be wrong but most set the fpr if useing one with a standerd ecu to 3.2 running tdo4 but as said better to get it checked first

ur rite billybob there no need for rrfpr but i'm guessin it was there from a fcd rrfpr set up an just left on when the ecu was upgraded, i'd say set to std an run ecu in as usual to adjust (i can't remember how the plug an play work) and try again should come out with at least a more smooth curve on power an torque an alot smoother power delivery on road.

i don't know much abut this kinda stuff but that graph looks pretty rough. i had a miss fire once while on rr an it showed 1 dip similar to those on that graph was a dodgy ignition lead, an once fixed made more power an torque?

cheers il tell him to run it again on standerd fpr:)

The tune must be awful as it stands on the RR graph, is there a boost/AFR plot?

Its awful late before it makes any tidy power as well...

checked his compression awhile ago seems low low 130 psi on all cylinders stock engine only 5efhe cams put in :(yes the powerband seems like a saw blade

With the "self learning" ecus its better to just stick with standard fpr, uprated fprs dont seem to run well with them at all. tell him to revert to a standard fpr and all will bew well;) On a side note, nice to see the mines fuleing the tdo4 setup fairly perfectly...I have one myself...tempted to go td04!
