maybe its just a pain in the ass, once you can actually do a search that allows you its not so bad i guess,

but the point that you cant do a search for anything 3 letters or below is ridiculous imo i dont understand that?

but hey.. site is spot on apart from that

its a security thing.... could search for "at" or "to" and crash the database.... bit of a nightmare I do agree.

I bought my STI to a friend who bought a vitz TRD 1.5 rs turbo. he loves the new car :) I'm sure he loves the larger amount of time between each petrol refill too...
I'm pretty sure the Vitz chassi is much better than the Glanza one in term of handeling. there are not so much mod to add on them unfortunately

get the vitz bei! VVTI is outstanding. You can drive them hard an they jus keep givin you more. I have a 1.0 vvti yaris an she is an absolute joy to drive! Surprized quite a few people wi her pace too. Drove a 1.3 vvti yaris last year an she was a beast so i can't even imagine wat the 1.5 is like! On a more boring note they do great mpg, infact one of our main newspapers over here (Irish times) rated yaris/vitz as the cheapest small cars to run: taking mpg, cost to service, cost of parts, depreciation etc all into account. If I could afford it I would get one!

As for the guys earlier, i'm pretty sure the new vrt system applies to new cars and also cars coming into the country as imports. Could be wrong though, someone confirm?

the vitz turbo engines are pretty weak as the rods are pretty thin,
and cant take the same amount of boost as an fte reliably,

apart from that every other areas miles ahead of the starlet,

if you check the us scion forums they use similar engines and with heaps of, tech information + parts over there.

The vitz rs is a good car pretty good power the handling ain't the best standard but that can be sorted by some lowering springs and a good set of shocks my dad has one and it goes pretty well his is gold

the new vrt taxes will apply to all cars that are imported to ROI after June/July.

this means it applies to old and new cars.

Japanese imports will be high vrt imo as the majority of them are high powered petrol:(

I'd go for a Vitz just to be different but the EK9 is seriously awesome!
I'd swap my Glanza for either tbh!
PS: the vitz is 150bhp stock not 180..
