Well seeing as my Flatmate has a Digital SLR Camera and is trying to learn more tricks of the trade, we decided to go out to find a suitable location for him to try out some HDR (High Dynamic Range) shots...unfortunately I wasn't able to find the absolutely amazing road I wanted to get shots on (It's around Wootton somewhere...I know it is...), so we just chose on this little hill near Wootton (Just off Banbury Road, near Kidlington), and well, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

Yes, yes, the dirt spoils it - tomorrow we're going to try out more locations, maybe with a washed car :p, though I doubt it, I'm dirty, so my car must be as well :p

Thanks honey  I must agree - infact, when taking the pictures, that was the one picture where my flatmate just stopped and told me to have a look...it was perfect! Not bad for a first go at HDR!

Not bad at all.

I'm going to have a pop at HDR when I can be arsed to actually take some photo's. I've got CS2 now too, so there should be no excuse :p

too true - it just gives such a wonderful composition to the photo, the colours are prominent but with the correct amount of contrasting too, creating such a wonderful effect...ahh, there's more to just (taking) a picture :p
