High rpm and idles rough

I have a problem with my car upon starting the car rpm goes around 1300 then drop to about 1100 to 1200 when fully warmed up, it idles rough creating shakey exhaust sounds i tried replacing the rubber support that holds the muffler but the uncontrolled shake still there

Is the engine by any chance running Polybushes?

Have the engine mounts warn sufficiently.

Nothing really sounds out of the oridinary, it's a 20 year old car with minimal sound deadening...

if you dont have polybush mounts, then it could be a collapsed rubber mount causing an issue.

dose the car drive ok? is the service fully up to date, all filters, plugs etc? have you done an ECU error check?
