**How to change the speedo cable**

Can anyone tell me if it is easy enough to change a speedo cable? Mines has gone and I have my NCT tomorrow so need it sorted, cant order a new one from toyota so I was thinking could take the one off my new Glanza minewhile to get it through the test then replace it. So is it hard and is there a tutorial on it, I couldnt find one.

You need to unscrew the cable from the speed sensor on the rear of the gearbox. Just look in the engine bay and follow the speedocable from the firewall.

Once that has been done you have to pull out the meter console. The cable is clipped into the back of the speedometer. Reverse the procedure with new cable.
