It turns out, as we suspected, that Bee R supplies incorrect wiring diagrams for some cars. Silvias and Starlets being some that have been discovered to be wrong.

Anyway, this is the diagram that Bee R supplies:
wiringdiaglt4ss0.jpg

This is their simple schematics for the unit wiring:

And this is a ECU pinout which I pulled off the net and cleaned up through photoshop:

Now, according to the schematics I am looking for IGf and NE+. According to the diagram that Bee R supplied I'm connecting to NE+ (pin 22) which is right, and to IGt (pin 6) which is WRONG!

So using the ECU pinout I'll be using pins 7 and 22 on the 26 plug connector.

And from doing this i hear that im the first GT STARLET EP82/91 with a BEE*R in it....
AND its MEAN!!!

Now down to the tech crap.

RED
Please refer to the wiring diagram supplied in the installation manual, and connect it to the designated vehicle's ECU.

BLACK
Connect this wire to theh vehicle's chassis' earth/ground contact, or the the vehicle's battery earth/ground terminal.

YELLOW
This wire is for the RPM signal. Please refer to the wiring diagram supplied in the installation manual, and connect it to the designated vehicle's ECU.

GREEN
This wire is for the ignition signal. Please refer to the wiring diagram supplied in the installation manual, and connect it to the designated vehicle's ECU.

WHITE
This wire is for the side brake switch signal. REV-1 works without connecting it.

Cut the appropriate wire for your engine:
4Cyl = Cut Grey Wire
Rotary Engines: Cut Brown Wire
6Cyl = leave all wires intact

Look very closely at this picture, you will see at the base of the knobs it is indented and displays a number when you turn it. Now you will understand the following.

REV-1:
To set up standard RPM.
0 2500
1 3000
2 3500
3 4000
4 4500
5 5000
6 5500
7 6000
8 6500
9 7000
A 7500
B 8000
C 8500
D 9000
E 9500
F 10000

REV-2:
The white wire connection set up the RPM readings that corresponds to the side brake switch signal. It works using an external switch. It switches off the engine by inputting a negative signal.

GAIN:
Controls the engine RPM cut off setting. For example, 0 is off, and 1 through to F is the adjustment range. The standard initial setting is 6. The lower the number the quicker the cut.
e.g. 1 = bababababa
F = BANG!!!... BANG!!!... IF you set the GAIN to 0 the limiter wil not function.

So i hope this help alot of people
Any question just ask away and ill reply asap.

Thanks

indeed it does, but your turbo wont last 5 minutes...so keep it to minimal use ;)

They dont effect your Turbo mate. Its not anti lag. I no some one who has had one on his car fuck ages and no probletms yet. Its just a myth from what Iv read and herd. I spoke to the guys who did all the work on my car and they fitted my Bee*R Rev Limiter and theyv never in there lifes seen or herd of one making anything go wrong in a car unless its fitted wrong. I did alot of research on them before I had mine fitted.

have you ever seen a turbo stripped down, after it has been used on one?

yes its not anti-lag, but you still have a huge flame going through your turbo....emence heat, and then cooling loads of times is not going to help it...

Once if Im honest. My mate brough the turbo off Ebay for his 200sx and they guy he brought it off listed everything that was on the car and the Bee*R Rev Limiter was one of the things added. My mate carried alot work on the unit himself along with me there as he was going for a full rebuild on it as it had coverd alot of miles. Not one problem with the turbo apart from it needed a few bits and bobs but nothing to do with the rev limiter. The guy it was brought off also stated that it was used alot and was on the car for two/three years so not alot wrong with them from what Iv seen. Iv herd people saying what your saying but nothing visual or anything else. Iv herd people say "It will kill your engine" or "It will kill your turbo". Iv asked a few garages and people that have these fitted and still no complaints.

But thats my 2p to it. Maybe your right I dont no but from personal exsperience Iv had no problems and I no people who have had no problems with this.

PIN 22 is actually sensor ground... is it 21 NE+ or 22?
