I'm back just took the caldina for a drive I put it in tiptronic mode and used the buttons on the steering wheel and forgot it was in first and hit the redline lol will have to be more careful hit the down button 2 times by mistake lol

Howdy guys took the caldina for another drive before put my foot down and I was at 170 km/h got up there bloody fast too soooo much torque the 3sgte is a great engine

brightest thing youve said all year :teach: lol

now imagine that engine with around 50-70BHP more in a car weighing around 400+KG less then the car your driving. And then you have a 3sgte starlet.....

And not even i go on about how fast my car is like you do! :slap:

Took the caldina for a boost today hadn't driven it for about 2 days and god it pulls it does about 5 secs to 100 km/h and seems to shift gears really fast sure it has a shift kit and an ecu gotta pull that glovebox out beat a motorbike the other day he wasn't impressed :haha: it still has standard rims and stock height may have been a sleeper in japan the brakes are s**t though lol

lol, i dont think it was a sleeper somehow i get the impression it has always been a bog standard car. a sleeper (imo) is something that looks ALOT slower than it is, like say a nova standard in appearance but running 400bhp. or a small van pumping out 300bhp!

as for racing a bike.. well leave that as above^^ it wouldnt have been a fast bike, or else the rider wasnt trying to race you lol

In nz cars that are sleepers are cars that look completely stock but have something more sinister under the bonnet it's sometimes hard with this car to use tiptronic shift mode buttons on the steering wheel as it has so much torque that it flings the needle right up so you have to push the buttons before it hits redline lol bloody fun though my car looks stock as even has standard exhaust
