Re slanderous comments

Hi please remember that any posts should balenced. There are both good and bad importers/exporters.As listed elsewhere on the forums is Monkys Inc. Have heard Some good things and they always seem to reply to any query.

I guess nobody wants to help? im can recomend logistics companys also if anyone is interest? for those who no what can happen when your vehicle is in transit. Whithout being slanderous and all!!

I imported my last gt from autoadvan

Mechanically sound

but there was sun damage on the bonnet and roof that the importer did not tell me about

Sorry to hear that you have had problems too. Its appreciated that you want to help others as well. Did they offer any compensation or explaination?

Re

I had the same when i was looking for a starlet, I chose 1 from Masterbrand, they sent the proforma then emailed and said that some1 had offered more money and asked if i would match or increase my offer, i said no so i didnt get the car. did you go to a dealer or buy privately in the end?

wrc car sales mate in bradford.

Paid a bit more than what i expected but I got a mint example.

Sometimes its worth paying that extra 500 just to ensure that the vehicle will work.

I write off my first gt that i imported, they were a few other things wrong with it aswell.

From now on I would always buy locally.

re

good point to raise. There are no rules from our side but remember that your words are your own so slanderous comments can be used against you.

Thats a very good point to make. I feel we also need some posative feed back here too. I suppose that if say for example, that if someone had a bad experiance i think a good constructive comment that doesnt contain to many expletives might, maybe a good start for a guideline?

My bro imports cars and he has only ever had one complaint and that was when the plonker who bought a skyline off him jumped in it when it was cold and started to go drifting (seen a video of this) and the engine blew, bro paid out half of what the new engine cost, he has been trading the past 4 years and that was it he tell people exactly what he is told about the cars he buys, and if someone requests a car they are told the info before the car is bought in Japan
