meshed turbo and profec b boost controller

i have just meshed my turbo and done away with the efi pipe and the boost solenoid. im having a bit of trouble wiring the boost controller up. i have put the vacuum pipe on a t piece to the fuel pressure reg but im not sure where the in and out pipe goes from the black box. help would be great. thanks

one pipe goes from the little stub on the turbo to the solenoid then another pipe from the solenoid to the actuator.

the one from the back of the controller wants to be anywhere after the compressor side turbo outlet. best place is wherever you boost gauge is taking from, usually the bov vacuum hose is the hose of choice for most.

sorry to hijack the thread but does it give good gains or just boost creep?

i take it you just take off the efi pipe yes...

you wouldnt risk puttin mesh up? if the mesh has tiny little holes its no difference to haveing that or a filter..... what wouldnt you risk? its running nothing off the turbo that "could" cause problems.....

well the filter stops water getting in....and little bugs etc.....and that would NOT be good for the turbo.....

i had mesh that was as fine as the blitz air filters and it let alot of shit in, was really suprised!
i got no boost creep, just boost drop off. i now have a front mounted filter and i get boost creep when its cold outside.

i wouldnt recommend mesh after seeing what i did

really???what mesh do you have??and any problems??i just dont like to think about all the shit getting in....
