new laptop suggestions please

right peoples it's new laptop time any input is greatly appreciated im set on a sony vaio unless anyone has any other suggestions... this is the one clicky all i really use it for is the net movies thats about it.. budget is €700 max.

sony vaio had one for 2 years with no problems at all - in fact im still using it for work

I've got a vaio, well gave it to my gf, it's had no problems in the year we've had it ! if it's just for net/movies you'll be fine ! (even runs the girlie games like sims3, tropico3 etc etc) and the one touch internet is pretty handy, press a button it loads the browser in 3 seconds

Ive had a Toshiba Satellite for the past two years and had no problems what so ever. I'm VERY happy with it and i will definitely been buying Toshiba again

Any more info? I'm looking for a new laptop but all I can find is 64bit machines and the softward I need to use will only work on a 32bit machine...

You can still get machines loaded with 32bit software and some places will even load that on for you if you want! - most windows 64bit windows does have compatability mode for older versions although I've found it only works with some of my software! you can dual boot thought and have windows 7 64bit and windows xp 32bit installed at the same time
