my suggestion is maybe to write up a pm for new members
basicly explaining some key site workings such as do a search before you post, the welcome section as i didnt know about it i didnt do it, and stuff like that
nothing too fancy or long just welcome to the site, these are some thing you should look at before you start posting and if you want more info check out our faq section
same pm sent to every new member when they sign up
