The choice should fall on those whom live there and only on those. It's useless to base this kind of decision on religion because we live in a multicultural world , but , if the majoraty of population don't wan't a law to pass it should not pass, and vice versa. When any minority group whant to impose their rules on the majoraty it's called a totalitarian regime. The minoraty should respect the decision always of the majoraty as the majoraty should always respect the human rights of the minoraty. We all are humans and we should respect each other, unfortunately lately (at least here in south of europe) it exist a positive descrimination towards homosexuality. What i find really not right, with the exception if it was considered a disiease like Freud was considering it. If it was considered a desiease of course should exist a positive descrimination like exist to many other people that need help.
I consider this kinds of "discussions" very shalow , because while some discuss what sexual acts they want to perform on room or street many die from hunger on this world. Real social problems reside on food, roof for everyone, education for everyone (real one not that education that governments want to brainwash us) and medical help for everyone. Every man should have a job and provide his family (homo or hetro or whatever he choses in his mind) , those are real problems that affects all world. Connecting it to war , plagues and so on i can only define this kind of actions as propaganda , to take our minds from the real problems that affect us all. Think as you like , i find this conflicts very useless and a way of weaken us as a society. This way the elite group can rule us like sheeps , dividing us in blues, pinks , yellows , reds or any other collor.
How about discussing what politics will make in this year to solve the problem of the unemplyment (or wich lies they will tell us) ???
