quick steering rack ?

This is only a suggestion....do a search for a quick steering rack for a Ford Fiesta. You may come up with an outfit that can modify the rack for the Starlet

while I was looking I found out that quaife produce a widerange of quick steering rack kit.
here is a 2.2 kit for a ford escort which should be close to what we need

they also produce ae86 quick steering rack. that would be nice if one trader who is close to them could enquire for a starlet version

during my search I found that detailed Toyota rack picture wich is close to the one we use

same, would love a quicker rack, more direct steering, like driving a milk float sometimes, i want that go-kart feel where half a turn will sort you out in most instances lol, dont mind the instability at high speed

I asked this question to not so long ago I spoke to quaife to see if they would build one if I could get a few people interested and they didntvwant to entertain it all so I gave up

what would be the price for the quaife steering ? I've been looking to do that for ages.

Here is another suggestion, there is an outfit in Japan called Desukara Desune Brand, they make suspension parts mostly for the AE86 but maybe they have a quick rack for the Starlet/Glanza. You can also check flamingriver.com to see if they have anything for either a Ford Pinto or Fiesta that could be modified.

From what i've seen, you would need less teeth on the rack, and longer rods. Can be done, would be able to keep the casing and just replace the internals.
