**Registration In Republic Of Ireland VRT**

Hows it going??

I need some help from anyone who has imported their own cars from Japland. Basically what it is, I imported the car and recieved it back in November, now due to finicially issues and fixing my other Glanza I never got money to register the new Glanza in the South of Ireland (VRT). Well anyway I have the money now so going to go down and try and register it now but was reading up and it says the car should be registered the first day its in the state, is this true and can I still register my car now?? Will there be any additional cost??
I know in the North of Ireland you have to put it through its MOT etc before you can register it, so they cant expect you to register it within a day, but the South is different,
Anyone have any info on this it would be great.

you go to the revenue office lad. Fill in some forms, pay the illegal tax and you get a reg number. (its an extra 300 if you want a particular reg number). Then you get your plates made up, what for the log book and then book in in for the nct. tax her after the nct. Hopefully i have not missed anything oh by the way here is the vrt calculator. Best do this and print it off before you go into the revenue. then they cant charge you more.
