hey lads... tell me something kon, the fuel cuts at what rpm? does it vary for different cars (as in different starlets) or all in a certain area? and an fcd would take it to what rpm?

thanks kon
i figured as much, but just wanted to be 100% of the rev cut
yeah, i figured u were pretty busy, its cool

ep71turbo - the stock rev limit is suppose to be 7200rpm
i guess the tacho on these cars a a bit old now, so it may be slightly out

Rev limit is 7200 rpm with the stock ecu, it can be changed on standalone ecu set ups but not with the stock ecu. An FCD will not affect the rev limit, it will stop fuel cut due to excessive boost but not in the scenario asked above.

i see some guys sometimes just bouncing thier cars off the limiter, maybe they like the sound of it

but i wonder if it does any damage over time

I have chipped manual ecu that came from the us which gives a 7500 rev limit .
