hey guys, right im trying to understand all this mumbo-jumbo about Ecu's and all this Fuel Pressure Regulators and FCD's and all tht but its jsut not sinking in, and i wondered if you guys can help,

i dnt have a starlet as of yet but looking to get one on the not to distant future im looking at keeping the standard Ct9 Turbo get a FMIC, HKS Actautor, Exhaust, De-cat maybe new injectors 330cc Ones, and a
New Fuel Pump, RRFPR , and i wondered what id need to control this,

hope this makes sense its confusing me already lol, im looking toward the Greedy E-Manage Blue, Would i still need a FCD or does this sort that out for me?? i know ill need a RRFPR for running more boost and that, do i still need a turbo timer, as im thinking of gettin a viper alarm that has a inbuilt one i think,

hope you guys can help really struggling to get my head around all this, if you guys can post up what Electronic's you guys are using then i can get an idea of things, or what system you'd recommend with the upgrades im planning

all i want to get is around the 170bhp mark hopefully :homer:

budget way to 170bhp would be exhaust with decat. manifold. hks actuator set to 1 bar. fcd. rrfpr. fmic. and some sort of filter upgrade.
get this all setup on the rollers and you should have about 170bhp in theory.

turbo timer isnt needed really. has no effect on performance so i wouldnt worry about it.

get the car 1st. give it a damn good service and uprate the suspension and brakes, then get performance modding

if all goes to plan, ill have enough to buy car, 16's coilovers, all my strut braces and bits and brakes before its even on the road lol, suppose ur right i just wanna make sure i dnt buy all these engine upgrades and fry summats or it go bang

well any modification that increases performance increases the likelyhood of the engine going bang.

depends how much you wanna spend really as well as the way you want to go about it. best way would be to search and see what others have done and make a decision based on that.
