Your Torque is not as high as I would've thought tho....

My car only made 156 bhp but managed a much larger 174 ft lb of Torque.....it's like your results but round the other way!

i think the torque is lower as she only has an fpr for her fuelling, and there for running very rich bottom end to keep it fuelled properly for the top end.

a good tune torque should be similair to bhp even better if more.

is this at one bar?

elaine is that the AFR of your map now as its running? whos mapped the car? your car is far too lean in those 12's isnt it?

hey kelly, ur mistaken about the afr graph, a good tuner will map in mid 12s till full boost is acheived.. if u look at the graph carefully, ull notice that from 5400rpms onwards the fuelling goes towards 11s which is what counts really..

personally i think its a nice agressive, yet safe tune.. :)

i was asking hence why the "isnt it?" i wanted someone to correct me this is how ppl learn. yeh i noticed it went into the 11s towards the end of the graph but i was asking bout lower down the rev range. only curious as a ct9 doesnt take that long to reach full boost.

anyway glad you got the result you wanted Elaine bet it feels so much better than when you first got your gt ! :)

Triton have always run 3rd gear as opposed to 4th like most. Not sure why, just their choice i guess. Doesnt make too much diff i presume the computer takes accont of it all.

As for giving higher results, no not necessarily. Most people complain Triton seem to under read what people were expecting most of the time! I best get my car tested soon!

yeh i know everywhere you go gives a diff read such a shame! just 4th gear is in better ratio with the engine and thats why most places use it.

I can only go by what Triton have done and said they have RR my car 4 or 5 times now and always talk me through everything, they pointed out that if the car was remapped it would be better but not essential as I am not planning on going for more power.

As for running in 3rd I can see your point as I no most cars are ran in 4th as that’s the closest to a 1:1 scale on the starlet apparently. But it is up to the tuner at the end of the day but don’t think it matters too much, as the computer works it out accordingly

I am really pleased with the results of the car, the work that has gone in to it her has really paid off so fingers crossed I will be able to get the winter project sorted so I will be at a few more shows next year

thats cool its always best when you know and trust them. especially when they talk you through stuff. i would have to roll my car in 3rd gear i dont have a choice thats why i was asking about it. coz everyone said to me its not ideal!
just think your car is only going to get faster!! :)
