every car (expect supercars) when standard hadles like roller coaster about to come off its rails, throw it in the corner and you'l be coming home in a box

thats where they make the aftermarket parts because toyota said 130bhp and our handlin is enough, but then theres people like me who want to see a car stick to the road or maybe justpush some more power out sensibly.

it also depends on the parts oyu get, some are shite and some are good and some are the best,

stick some springs, shockers strut bars and a lsd then 100% i'l garuntee you wont saythe same thing,

i woundt even dare trying out standard handling around corners.

and talking about evo's thats giving them a bad name, unless maybe the onwers grandad was driving and changing gears at 3,000rpm like they normally do lmao lol

i dont even think french's best car can even smellll an evo lol :p

IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLL.............. WHAT THE FQ IS COOKING! sorry just watching old school wwf haha

Someones gone mad lol ^^ only joking. I agree with what your saying...

All though i have absolutely BATTERED the shit out of tooo many stock cars on stock set ups now and for the road alot are pretty well suited as they disregard most of the imperfections in the road.....

I was on stock set up on my GT for 1 whole year and i cant emphasize enough how fast i used to push that round corners... Its possible, You just have to use the under steer as an advantage and the other side of the road ;) lol

But the GT as stock sufferers from body roll alot which is never a good thing. But then too little can be bad on these normal roads... there is a compromise.

someone has to go mad eh? lol :p

yes the gt's suffer from body roll, but a few mods can sort that our very quick :)

i dont have a a coilover setup but still handles well, most common ones and to keep your funds low you can do is springs, good tyres and strut bars, but it all depends how you use your car if your like starlet3sgte you dont need much lol :p

dont know how you took them throw the corners but i woundnt even dare with a standard one lol

tbh i would expect comments like that but dont blame yous

i think the only reason i was holding to the evo was because i was in second gear doin about 3500 revs which is were peak power starts on mine and id expect the evo to be doing very lows revs in second as its tops speed is higher and she would have horrible lag when he put his foot down.im not saying my cars faster but it was fully stripped except for the seat i was sittin on and the seatbelt around my waist.and was running super unleaded for a few days so she was a good bit quicker than normal.

and i didnt state any speeds so let the pigs find me and try and do me.

anyways getting back to what i asked and never got a def answer.

anything i should look out for that would be underneath and cost aot of maoney to fix if i was to buy one???like gearbox etc???

and christy you still on for swapping your yok for the beemer???

lol.. ^^

Im not going to say too much but TRUST me you can fly around corners in a standard GT. Proven many a times. But i wouldn't recommend keeping the stock set up as its not the safest of set ups especially if you go for more power. Stock has a lack of rigidity and doesnt feel as planted as you would want.

but then who cares if stock doesnt do the job, just upgrade, thats what the car wants :)

SSSSSHHhhhhhhhhh..................

He sounds like the type of person we should be putting off buying a Glanza before the storys start of his beating F50s and Enzos

Yeah, Yeah, seriously Starlets don't stand a chance aginst a VTS, i've seen a VTS with just a filter beat a 300bhp Starlet, Saxo's are just in a diffrent league!!!

:D

lol maybe the evo was playing with u and its a toyota at end of day reliablity is excellent ! only things that u watch out for is cv joints i believe

your dam ryte can fly through corners now lol, well upto its limit anyway

an lsd is an excellent and probably the best mod i think on the gt's

numba1drummab01 you should look for a standard one then you know it hasnt been meesed around with then you can owrk out what you want to do with it but jst ask anyone with aftermarket parts and they'l tell you,

like franzas aorund corners giving civics a hard time lol

i dont run a coilovers but since last week after putting a lsd (cusco mz) man it makes a hell lot of a difference :)

thanks man i will definetely look into it.
are any of you running aftermarket ecu's.cosidered standalone on mine as the one i was getting comes with a cd so you can adjust the feul enrichment and ignition timing as well as keep an eye on every sensor but gave up on it as i just want a glanza now

the amount of times ive let these little cars go i.e a fiesta zetec last night.. was beside me then flew off flying down the road on a dual carriage way, got about 4 cars lenghs in front then planted it, caught him and well... errrr beat him? lol

My point is in a much faster car you always tend to let them go off before you, well i do anyway..... These bloody lambos always trying to piss me off :p

Welcome to the forum.

Im sure you wont be disapointed with a starlet. My partner ben had a supercharged saxo before his starlet gt and the starlet would wipe the floor with it anyday straight or bendy road. The supercharged saxo was fast but stil wouldnt be trying to claim to be beating the things mentioned in this thread :p :)

i'm running a jam one they are really good, plug and play ones, but it depends what you want bud and how you want to run them,

plug and paly ones:

jam ecu
mines ecu
blitz access

and then theres other where you adjust evrything yourself but are pricey like

greddy emanage ultimate

welcome mate any futher pics of the paxo as in under bonnit spec list of what parts it has on have you ever been to a rr with it few lads i no have them with turbo conversions in my local town

thats a massive stakement about evo and rx7 should of maybe left that out but dont think you would dissapointed in the glanza mate really nice cars but dont forget about the massive power loss you will get with a glanza as my starlet aint standered and wouldnt party with the big boys on the track :)

dont worry it wont turn into anything :)

and you are very welcome on the forum like said above the rx7 and evo statement was a bold one and is bound to get people discussing it. I know saxo's can handle and can be quick but i'm positive you wont be disapointed with a starlet :)

so the plug and play ones dont require mapping??? or are they just plug and play because they plug into the existing loom without modifications??
