small circuit time trial in holland (toyota challenge)

participated at a toyota challenge today on a small circuit.
we did a time attack and ended up with the 3rd time overall of the day! (first time for me to be on a circuit!)
was great fun!

my wife also had her first go on the track and she loved it! too bad it was rly crowded on the track so she could only try 1 run but she really wants to do it again! she actually made the 16th place overall that day! beating quite a few mr2's and celica's

and here is the final board (yes the first few places were very close!) was great fun!
and i was rather quick around the corners to much annoyment of the larger powerhouses (mr2's, supera's etc)

Well done mate, with a few extra handling mods (iirc you dont have many?) you will see some good times :rockon: repped!

made quite a few mods to the handling but still need a stiffer rollbar in the front and would need coil overs to stop the wheel from lifting off.

semi slicks would improve the times a lot too.
but she's my daily car so looking for a sporty yet reasonably comfy ride

from the pic you definitly needs coilovers. but rear wheel will still lift off. nothing that bad about it :p

here is mine with front and rear ARB + rallye asphalt coilovers

to be a lot quicker on the track i gather i'd need the following:

coilovers
semi slicks
stiffer rollbar in the front
lsd gearbox (had loads of wheelspin trouble exiting the corners)

but then again it was my very first try ever to get round a track and it's not something i'm doing every weekend so i might get a few parts but i doubt i will be going for a full track setup just yet.

my wife loved it a lot too and she also aproves to add a few parts for the next try (semi slicks and maybe lsd)
