My dad used to have a Ford Cortina ages ago. Was cream with the green stripe down it and a red anglia. He has moved to New Zealand now, and two months back he asks me if I can go and have a look at a car for him to import over there. He says "It's very special". Turn up, its a red Ford Anglia, with a Cosworth engine and a YB turbo on it, putting out 300bhp.

    I will get some pics!

The previous owner took the pics so all credit to him for them. The day I went to see it typically it was raining, a bit hairy with that much power through the back wheels but a great laugh!

The thing is unreal. It was spinning on the rollers in 3rd gear! I think it could comfortably eat a lot of newer cars and the noise it makes is awesome!
