Sounds like thats the problem, low idle.
When you touch the accelerator slightly say to 900revs does the shakin go away?

Trackrod end ball joints need to be considered too.
Start your engine and open the bonnet. Look at the engine and see is it rocking back and forwards much. Get somebody else to give it a rev while you check for much movement.
