A friend has had his Type R stolen from Ealing please could people be on the search out for the following car (taken thread from Civinfo)

Some **** has nicked my Type-R.

Forced entry.... Taken spare key... and £50 that was on the lounge table... (That's all that I have discovered thusfar)

I have a mixture of emotions.. Raging! But I also feel like crying.. I've spent so much ££££ in trying to finally end up with an EP3 (low-ileage minter)... It's just losses all around.. financially - and when I finally get what I want, it's nicked 7 weeks later.

I'm aching from spending all day just cleaning the engine with Gunk and hosing it down yesterday... feel even more fuming knowing the work that I have recently put into the car...

Worse still my Genuine Mugen Grille is on it's way over from Japan and ready to go on the car - and my Tein Springs are in my room, booked in at TGM to go in on Friday.

At least they got the car in standard guise - as the Mugen socks were taken off and washed yesterday, so they'll miss out on the sooped up version.

Serious though, I don't know if I want it back either... after some **** has done what they wanted to it..

Please could people post this on other forums they are signed up to so we can get as many people on the case as possible. The bloke had only had this a month or so!

Did the overly helpful police do anything mate. god makes me sick why people do this to peoples pride and joy. hope its found mate. keep us posted. All the best

He has informed the police ansd local petrol stations as it dint have much fuel in it! Dont think they are too bothered to be honest.

Car has been found. Thanks to all that helped with this. Police ended up finding vehicle and had a chase with the culrpits who abandoned car.

Police 1 - Crims 0

Guy cant view it till its had all the forensic tests done but reporting officer said looks fine. Only problem is it out run the cops in their deisel astras :p and cops had to use the chopper so my mate worried that its been ragged to pieces

That should be Police 0 - Crims 1 the police do sweet fa about nicked cars my mate had his Subaru ra nicked and they smashed it up police dragged the lads out and arrested them with the things they had used to nick the car i.e screw driver etc then after there arrest gave them all the stuff back and they ended up doin a few hours community service!

Glad they found the car:)

Ealing is quite a nasty place, i've been to a few clubs and puds there.

Good that it was found. Not so good that when vtec kicked in yo the cops were a bit screwed. I imagine not everywhere has a chopper handy
