When I heard, Capitol Raceway was going to be open Easter Sunday....
I thought, "This will be an opportunity to make up for all the times I've gone
to Friday evening test 'n' tunes and waited 5 hours just to get 2 runs!!!"
I had a feeling, not too many people would be out there and MAN, WAS I
EVER, RIGHT ON!!!!!!!
I don't think there were enough cars to fill 2 staging lanes (each of which
holds 20 cars....)
Within the 3 hours I was there, I managed (contrary to what the tower
announcer was saying, that I'd made 22 passes)15 runs down the 1/4 mile....
In the first hour, alone, I made 7 passes (of which, one was TERCEL1's
quickest and fastest to date!)
Here's the report card for a very Happy Easter Sunday!!!
