TERCEL1: Returns to MY fav "pass time"!

Well, when I arrived at MIR, it was around 9:10 am and I had
been awake for 24 consecutive hours... I was BEAT but the
sounds of the track soon "woke me up!"

Here's a photo of TERCEL1 in the lanes:

As you can see by the 'report card' things are progressing very
well and that makes me quite satisfied!

... I even ran ANOTHER personal BEST :drive:

Notice the erratic behavior of the shift light which was set
to around 6500 RPM. While the light appears to come ON
at around 6500 RPM, there are times when the light
REMAINS ON even when the RPM has DROPPED to
5500 RPM and then, as the RPM begins to rise again, goes
OFF at around 6000 RPM and comes back ON again at
6500 ROM!?!?

I want the light to be OFF AT ALL TIMES below the setting
of (in this case) 6500 RPM!!!

Very distracting...

Unlikely? Reason I say THAT is 'cuz the tachometer is getting
its signal from the same place....?

Looks like you're launching rather high there Alf, I take it the thing bogs any lower? with a 2.0 60' you should be looking at a 12 second pass

Looks like your shorter tercel gears are working well for you, in an EP82 you can do 100+ mph in 3rd, not the best for a fast time.
