TGTT Issues

i dont really no about anyone else, but i find it highly annoying that all unread posts become unhighlighted when you log out or leave the computer for more that 15mins. When at work or at home, i often get called away to do stuff and im sure this is the same with others. i'd really like it if you could change this feature to allow me to view each post in my own time. at present it makes the "mark as read" tab inefficient and should be moved in my opinion.

also i know that it has been asked before, but when threads are posted up with a given title like my "Greddy E-01 Help" thread stating that i have and issue and would like help solving it. when the issue has been solved or updated, which you'd like people to know of or changes etc, it would be highly effective if you were able to change the title of the thread that you had already opened once things change. Even if you wouldnt allow the change of title, but allow to add to it would still be ok. it would then be something like "Geddy E-01 Help - Update/Solved", or something like that.

Perhaps it may be disabled in that particular forum, but if you post again and you are the thread owner, is there not a radio button to 'Close thread after submission'? Also I think you're able to change the title?

I've not experienced the issue with thread highlights being lost?

you are able to change the thread title. Go in to edit and advanced mode and then look at the options.

As for the highlighting, I am not sure what you mean, please post more info with screenshots.

I get the same issue with all unread threads being marked as read (or becoming un-highlighted) after a period of being logged in. Although I don't think it's an issue with the forum software, I think it's likely to be Virgin Media, maybe trying to cache the site in some way using my IP? I know Virgin Media stopped using transparent proxy servers in 2007, but it seems a little strange that only after a short period of being logged in, every unread thread on the forum is no longer highlighted and my IP was also blocked by the site host for too many concurrent connections.
