I've already posted a pic of mk2 rears and polo 6n rears.polo 6n rears are mk1 golf rears. The same set up.as said before I'm surrounded by dub lads and they have kept me right.

no bother mate its just wat i was told on the german golf club but if they indeed fit like that then our option is limitless :) thank you for adding to the thread credits added :)

what size alloys are u on mine ore 14" and have the same stance like that i still use the helper springs in mine are u using yours ???

Thanks Colin.my wheels are 15x7 :-x been building this bugger for 3years hasn't been in he Road in 5!helper springs are still in and will be staying in.i could go another inch hehe

done some digging on compatible top-mounts , the rears should be changeable with the ep71 , might be of some use ..
found some similarity's between the fronts,

only doing the rears as there's no way I'd trust them as fronts, hopefully I'll see a couple of weeks out of these.

hey grayzor are they vw topmounts for the rear they look like a better option then the starlet 1s bolted on top starlet 1s will wear fast

i am wel happy with mine now they are settled i do have to adjust ride hight a bit now but thats easy done now with the bottom adjusters on mine :)

the rear 1s u have there are like mine

trd top mounts I also used a large washer on the top of the spacer to hopefully stop it pushing through them

I don't know how they grind them rears down so good, it must have to be pretty level ! i might attempt it , with access to a band saw or surface grinder , not sure about the angle grinder bit ;)

thats simple years of practice mate i did mine with a handsaw i did my turbo merge collector to with the handsaw lots off fun :) :)

or are u on about the rear bottom bush

yeh man , hacksaw blades are cheap enough :) I suppose its only a problem if there cut down too much or not straight. not bad for the price. I wonder if they handle and good compared to the big brands. never had coil-overs ! yet...

i think there top dog but these are my first so cant compare i still like them totally tranceformed mi ride in a good way
