I have never met the guy or seen any of his tuning so im not in a position to comment. However we have built some of the fastest cars in ireland across a wide range of makes so i dont see how your map could of been so bad.

Some tuners have different ways to detect det and even datalog it for future proof in a dispute like this, which was obviously wasnt done in this case.

yes i do realise that hence why i took the trip up there in the 1st place!

i can ask him did he datalog it no problem, why dont you go have a word with adrian and ask him why he was taking fuel and adding timin and give me a pm.

Without taking sides, you have deleted the map which would show how much ignition timing was put in. As for pulling fuel did the map show this? Or is there an under lying problem with you fuel system? Aye did you see the map or are you taking someone elses advice/word?

Sorry to butt in here but same thing is happening to me! Car was fine (or so I thought) and in then last few days its been detting like mad!!! Won't be going back there again.

Burkie - same situation as you bud, had the engine compression tested before I bought the car in December - was in great nick, good even compression across all cylinders..pretty fooked now i'd imagine

i seen the tables myself and i was told what the story was, why would another tuner lie? i was told by another tuner i was supost to be going to it was det that had done it and the tuner i went to said it when i told him what happend! theres no problem with the fuel system mate if there was i would have bein told

Detting like mad in the last few days?Did you have det cans or any other form of knock metering on your car?
If it was detting like mad when you left ECC, it would have popped by now.
This is what i dont understand, it was fine then all of a sudden its detting?

Thats fine, what ignition was it running at full chat?
I said no where about folk lying, but at the end of the day, buisness is buisness, money talks
As above i find it strange that the car was fine when it left ECC, yet 2 weeks after its detting? If the det was that bad it would have went pretty damn soon after you left. Reason i ask about the fuel system is it could be a regulator problem. Dodgy regulator wont be able to supply enough fuel when its in demand most and tail off higher up the rev range. No fuel or bad fuel will result in higher knock reading.

If there is something wrong and you think its our fault please bring the car back up immediately and we will check it for free on the road and the dyno, but i dont see how it wasnt detting then and is now. If monday suits you just come on up. We will also compression check it for you.
