As for your oil leak, check the o-ring on the dizzy shaft, or the cam cover gasket, where it goes over the dizzy.
I had the same probem and it turned out to be one of them, sorted both and its never leaked again from that area. :)

cheers rory ill check that out, id managed to get quite away around the bay with only a minor amount of oil being lost to i suspect it sprayed out from somewhere but it wasnt exsessive, hopefully its the dizzy area but ill do a compression test to check that out too.

cheers :) where was you standing?, did you hear the issue with my wastegate? it was opening bewteen gear changes and then flicking between 0.6 and 1bar boost, really anoying but it was ok in 4rth gear onwards still managed to mak that corsa turbo look like it wasnt accelarating on that turbo corsa haha

- does anyone know what 6500rpm in 5th gear is in speed terms as i hit that down the main straight lol my gps said about 150ish but its slow to count so maybe tad higher

saw lots of starlets this time :) was a good day apart from being so tired having to get up at 4.45 to drive down there, dont think it was set out as well as last year either had to do loads of walking to get to different areas i missed lots of stuff trying to walk from one side to the other but nevermind

any more pics?? whos is the glanza with the deep dish alloys was parked next to our stand

lol it was definantly not turbo mate, was 998cc im sure of it, it was so slow it was almost going backwards.
