Just got my posting order thru, I'm off to Brize Norton in March. I know its a bit early but I thought I might as well ask. Does anyone know of any good rolling road tuners in the Oxfordshire area? I'm not gonna need anything crazy doing, just a SAFC/FCD set up.

Anyone got any experience?

Cheers peeps. hutch.

Nice 1. You know where Brize Norton is? Lucky Hutch gets posted to the busiest UK military airport! Working 2 days 2 nights 4 off though so can't complain! If you find anywhere mate let me know.

never heard of it...well, I think I haven't...I know there's a Military Base near Bicester which is around 15-20mins away from Oxford...

Bah, anyway, shall let you know - trouble is finding a place with a good reputation, it's all too easy to go into any Tom, Dick & Harry's Cowboy Tuning Garage

Yeah Bicester is a big supply depot, Brize is a bit further still. Do some asking for me dude, any info would be great.

Place called owen developments is about 10 miles from oxford, they specialise in jap turbos, and have a rolling road.

Very good by all accounts, I need to take mine there and stick it on the rolling road when I have a new clutch fitted.

:cool:

Hp = Torque * rpm / 5252

That torque figure is about right.Use this equation to very dybo graphs

/ is divide mate. I don't understand how thats useful though, if you know your torque figure I'd say its a safe bet that you've already been on the rollers so you'll have your HP figure anyway! :confused:

I have used Mark @ Owen Developments in the past for mapping/tuning of my old Supra running a t88 Setup , bit of a treck from Cumbria but the service i got there was the best i have experienced and i have used quite a few tuners now.

Also bought a TRD2000GT a year or so back which had been tuned by them , again very good.

So yes id certainly recommend them.

Thanks
gord
