Hey guys
After me and my buddy were able to set the timing right on the 4e motor we cranked it up and it turned over fine. The car ran for about 30 seconds or so then pretty much the engine stoped BRUTTALY. It almost sounds like it ceased up or somehting i wasnt able to turn the crank or the cam shaft gear over at all.
I suspect it might be the clearence between the spring end caps and the cam shaft. The only modification i have done to the engine is put in some after market valve springs which are alot stiffer then the regulars. COuld this cause somehting so terminal as the engine to cease brutally like that or what?
I am going to take off the cams and do the clearence check again.
What do you guys think?
Any info helps.
Thanks
Cristian
