USC Result

Hi,

I went to USC on the weekend, and did the 1/4 mile a few times.

Here is my performance speclist (182.9BHP):
Speedvision TD04 Kit
Manual Boost Controller - 0.7bar
Blitz Nurspec R
No air filter (temporary due to needing 180degree bend)
Stripped out rear
(No fuel mods, standard topmount and no other performance mods)

Front tyres are Toyo Proxes T1Rs, back are Yokohamas.

My first result was 14.1 wheelspinning the whole way through first, second and most the way through third...

After that, I decided to try gaining traction by lowering the tyre pressure, turning the boost down slightly and using less throttle, but it just made my times slower!

I was happy with the results overall but I know it would run much quicker times with traction (its estimated to do 13.4 seconds if I can get the power down!)

Now i'm going to concentrate on traction - uprated engine mounts, maybe a stock LSD, possibly anti-lift castor kit. Wouldnt mind wider tyres aswell...

dont think a stock diff will fit into the stock box that dont have the diff. i think you will need an aftermarket one.

The synchro has gone on 3rd so I want to replace the box anyway cheers
