Using paypal.... help!

Hey i wanted to set up my paypal account so i could receive money, do i need to add my bank account to do this? or whats the case? any help appreciated.

does it just add to my paypal balance?? and no need to add a bank account... and i can use that money to pay for other things?

pretty sure u need a bank account mate, when u buy am item it just comes straight from ur bank and when u sell something the money goes in2 your paypal and you can either keep it their or withdaw it to your bank account hope this helps matey

that'd make me think you dont need an account.. because you can add credit cards and not add an account and still pay for items. i wounder can you still recieve a payment and leave it in your paypal to pay for other items? thanks man

2nd that you will need it yo withdaw money as soon as you do the steps the ask ring them and they will review what you sent in right away rather then waiting the 4 days they say! hope it heps mate

Paypals just there for buyer and seller protection and thats what I usually do when selling stuff I keep it in my paypal for up to 6 months at times until i need to buy something of ebay ect

ah thats grand so i can recieve a payment without a bank account added, like the account would just be topped up with the money recieved?

Yeah mate thats the way I used mine BUT after eather 6 months or a year they as you to confirm your bank account then you have I think 120 days to confirm and in the 120 days you can withdraw money but your still able to buy and sell stuff ! The only reason they what you to confirm your bank account is so make your Status: Verified. Also beware that your account has a limit of 2500 euro before u have to give them all your details including photo id, bank statement ect
