Was an amplifier an ep91 factory extra?

Was an amp a factory extra for an ep91? A friend of mine has one and he reclons it's a genuine Toyota extra. It's a black box and sits under his passenger seat. I looked at it though and there is no Toyota stamp on it? Is this normal?

And if they did come as a rare extra, has anyone got a photo of one?

I think it was an option. Try to search for options in the advanced search with Jay as the username and option as the subject.

ya there was a shed load of optional extras on these cars.. my V had a few things but they were ripped out by last owner :(
