i would cut 5mm from that bolt and use threadlock to be safe that it wont undoo itself. problemos solvutos !

well..you'd only need to shave off like 1-2mm's there if thats route you wanna take. gimme 1-2 days blak..i'll find the appropriate stud and send it to you. tell them dont worry...the manifold walls are like 3.6mm's thick. its not going to cut through.

Im going to be taking the mani off next week so would be good to put on a smaller stud.

Can i just ask what paint is used to paint the mani's as it dont last long, is it any kind of high temp paint or not?
