What’s best forged rods to use?

Currently building up a spare 4e, looking around for rods there’s a lot for around the £600 mark then I keep seeing these maxspeeding rods for around £350

anhine got any recommendations thanks

The best would be Pauter.

The very best would be the new 148 titanium rods. Picture below. Bargain..

The rest would be Scat, PEC, Maxspeeding. They are all broadly similar if not the same.

I've used maxspeeding in a couple of builds as advised by my machinist. I've got another new set to go in.

They offer L19 uprated bolts if you are going wild.

The maxspeeding ones will do fine for 90% of people.

I went with PEC on my build, but as above, all those ones mentioned are much of a muchness really. It's more what you can get hold of and the best price.
PEC swayed me as I heard they didn't need the block notching which saved me some cash on machine work.

Thanks I’m wanting to run absolute maximum 300hp my turbo won’t even do that power atm, thinking of using maxspeeding as they are cheapest, I don’t mind doing my block as I’m a machinist myself cheers for info

i use cx racing rods in my build , which look very similar to the "scat, pec, maxspeeding, etc" ...i've not had any issues with them
