What do i do?

Right i had an accident in my glanza as a few of you already know. I didnt tell my inusrance company as i was amicably going to do it through cash witht he person i hit (nissan figaro). as i have later found out the repair bill would be insane for his car £3785 (his car is a state, rusty arches etc). I bought another car to ferry me around for the meantime, and asked to add the car to my policy....which they switched to! so i have rung them up this morning to change insurance back to my car.....obviously i need to tell them about my accident now because i dont have 3k...where do i stand?

nothig to worry about. just explain to them what happened. they will be fine.

if they ask why not reported sooner just merely say i was looking to settle privately but it will cost too much. i work in claims and its fine mate!
