yes thats the one. im running plane jane rs4 turbo's as my s4 ones where slowly on there way out. yes stock internals which are rated up to about 500bhp. whats stopping me at the moment is rs4 larger maf, intake Y-pipe, and heads.bullet proof engines, just sensors which are abit annoying at times.

Yeah that is awesome mate.. Your must go really well with 450BHP jeez! Yeah i think i read somewhere that yours shares teh same engine as RS4 but just de-tuned...? Obviously by the some of teh bits you just mentioned.. What boost can them turbos run? Must be alot to bump BHP from what 260-280 right up to 450? Is there alot of work involved? I really would not mind one of these when works pics up... Its an option.. So practical too and underrated.. No-one would ever know.

Yeah the s4 is 265 standard with alot of low end torque. the rs4 comes out at 380bhp but has cam wear issues on older engines. there are 500bhp s4's going around coming up to the 200k mark and going strong. im not sure what the max are on the turbo's, but im running at safe 22psi. but if you go hybrid k04 turbo's with rs6 compressors etc (turn up the boost)

i spent a year collecting parts, it worked out cheaper in my head, but if you budget 5k for evrything + labour then cool. but if buy a good conditioned s4, looking at 4-5k, so buying a already ko4'd s4 would be cheaper in the long run. Work wise, not much, engine out attach turbo's (and what ever else) engine in, re-map it and you have your power. whilst my engine was out everything was replaced, belts, pumps, gaskets etc.

I have:
630cc injectors
rs4 fuel pump
xs-power dp's
xs-exhaust (no cats)
rs4 clutch
fmic ( i did have rs4 coolers)

so not really that much. audisrs.com forum is great for all kinds of info and some really quick audi's!

Thanks mate!

Definitely not alot of work really when you think about the performance your getting. Thats not far off supercar territory.
