just try all the usual ones. adrian flux, elephant etc.

will be expensive at your age though

Best waiting till youre 21 and over for a glanza as the insurance is a lot, and it can be hard to find an insurer. GT's are generally easier to insure, but anything at 18 is going to be a lot.

if its on your mums and your the main driver then that is illegal mate. if you cant afford it then wait until you can.

i waited and it was alot better price!

ah right, thats fine then. stick a sister on there too if you have one. women drivers on the policy helps bring it down.

2k for a GT sounds about right.

i think as the GTs are older and dont look as modern the insurance companies think they are less of a risk than a glanza.

alot of younger drivers are put off buy an 18 year old car that looks like an old school nissan micra.

Im 19. no ncb and 3 points for careless driving (Wasnt my fault someone ran into me). I put my mum and my girlfriend on my insurance as additional drivers for my GT Turbo and got a fully comp quote of £1900, thats with paying interest on it by paying it monthly.

Im 18 Got Glanza. My insurance is just under 2000, I'm a girl :haha: didnt think it would double just because ur a lad though.
I wouldnt pay more than 2000 to insure any car, gutted if you've brought the car already!

womens insurance is about 50% cheaper than mens in most cases. the gap closes the older you get and the more no claims you get but i dont think its fair.

ive been driving nearly 8 years, had a moped at 16 also had my GT 5 years and have almost 7 years no claims, ive had no accidents ever and no points or anything at all. my girlfriend who is the same age and has 0 no claims, hasnt held her licence as long and has next to no experience can insure my car for £200 less than me :(
