I think people also need to take into the account the area that people live in.

The postcode risk factor plays quite a major role to your insurance premium. Manchester is definitely one of those that are in the high risk area.

Quinn Direct

Try Quinn Direct theyre usually real good for you drivers in NI especially with performance cars (except Type R's and Impreza's which they wont touch). Im 22 with 1 year ncd, im just off my R plates as i lived in canada for a while and didnt do my test here til i was 21 and im insured through Quinns on a 95 EP82 Gt Turbo for £700

i would rethink that one mate,

if youve got a glanza insured with elephant then its not properly insured!

they dont have glanzas on there database and youve obviously got it down as a gt turbo? if you ever had a crash you wud be pretty fucked i would amagine, down to you if you run the risk tho mate!

This is very true! If you are paying how ever many £££'s to ensure a Glanza through Elelphant, Bell or Admiral, you are throwing your money down the drain! You may aswell insure it as a Starlet N/A! If you crash and claim, as Adam said, you are well and truely fucked!

Ive been through this many times with all three of the companies mentioned and they will not or should not even touch Glanza's. You will get the odd man/woman on the end of the phone saying, "ok we'll put it down as a GT Turbo if it is similar", but this is utter bullshit. I have had them say exactely the same thing to me and after looking into it and speaking to these peoples managers, they simply dont insure what isn't on their books!

Just a heads up anyway for those who think they are fine insuring Glanza's with these companies. :)
