will taking out the battery loose the settings on my Greddy profec 2 boost controller

hey everyone, i just have a quick question, my battery is knackered and i need a new one, i have a greddy profec boost controller fitted with hi and lo boost set, if i take out the battery will i loose the settings on it or will they still be there when i fit the new battery?

also will taking out the old battery reset the ecu? i only ask this because i am using maxols new 99.3 ron petrol an someone told me that the ecu must be reset so it can adjust to the new fuel, is this correct?

the profec b will keep all its settings mate so dont worry about that. removing the battery will reset the ecu. its a good thing to do now and then especially if you have changed the type of fuel you use.
