will windows xp x64 install on a normal laptop?

i want to try out windows xp nemesis blabla but i only found the x64 version.. will it install normally on a non 64bit laptop?


i take it x64 is 64bit comuters? or im totaly wrong?? lol

spot on fella if it isnt an x64 cpu then it wont run and you'll have to find an x86(32bit) version. if yout after a version of xp thats pretty good look for the "black" edition in the usual places

if it's a fairly modern laptop it should have an x64 capable CPU.

word of warning though, XP x64 is garbage, not a stable OS at all (in my experience)

its 4 years old... has an amd cpu but still going fine even with windows vista/7 is pretty good...well with vista is not fast as an XP but yeah you can work with it.

and got another one like it for 140euro put suse 10.1 but the fucker can recognise my wifi card and cand find any info how to install it etc. so im going for a "modded" xp!
