worn engine mount effects?

hi guys,

would worn engine mounts affect gear changes?

im pretty sure my mounts are either worn / getting old because at idle the steering wheel vibrates its nuts off, and its becoming quiet jerky at low rpm when crawling in the traffic.

wat i wanna know is will it affect gear changes and kinda make the gearstick get stuck so it doesnt slip into gear properly, sorta feels like the gearbox/engine is out of line.

if this happens all i have to do is blip the throttle and it slips in again!

wat you guys think?

sounds more like gearbox with what your describing

my glanza used to really shake and vibrate in traffic as its tickover was about 600 ive turned that up and the shaking has almost gone

Mines does this as well because when i'm idling it is very low and shaking the steering wheel, as soon as i touch the accelerator and the revs rise up the vibrations go away. Guide would be welcomed (,")

bump to the top lol

im pretty sure its a sign of worn engine mounts

but thats not wats worrying me too much its the sticking clutch and stiff gear changes me that is worrying me, it seems to be ok sometimes when ive just set off but afer a bit of a rag it gets worse.

it surely cant be the clutch because its only bout 1000 miles old

and ive just had the gearbox bearings done too so i hope it isnt that coz itll be a right pain in the ass!

any suggestions please?
