Stowford Press (Cider) and Guinness last night. And some other cloudy cider that was really nice, most bottled branded cider is really poor compared.

I tend to stick to beer (carling usually) and try and pace myself. I've only just started doing this coz I used to have a bit of a problem with the stuff. I'd have total black outs where I wouldn't remember a thing, I've gone missing for hours at a time and not know anything about it, not know where I was, how I got there or how I got back. Pretty scarey really. I'm trying to calm it down a bit these days. If I'm on an all dayer, I've eaten and I'm taking it steady 12 pints would probably be about right.

Favourites include:
Oakham Oblivion
Howerd's town Wren Nest,
Abbeydale black mass,
abbeydale moonshine,
Loads of other Pale ales, generally anything hoppy and fairly strong. I'm often drinking something I've never tried before. If I'm in the sort of shit hole people go to vomit, fight and be deafened in, Guiness is usually the pick of a poor bunch...

Oakham Oblivion, I've had that, used to live right near Oakham.

I had something called the Black Pearl a few weeks back, don't ya just love trying different ales at half the price of a pint of lager.

Ruddles is £1.35 in Wetherspoons.
