My Racing Hart CP-035's cracked along two spokes and they are supposed to be decent wheels. Guess it can happen to anyone :(

omg thats disturbing, i was going to buy rota wheels as well! :eek:

That actually happened to any/many people on here??

Oh no the same Rota pictures from over 4 years ago!

This just gets repetitive and the reiteration gets boring - it can happen to any alloys

I know, i must admit ive never heard of this happen to anyone, though obviously it does happen to some unlucky people :homer:

There was that thread about having wheels powder coated, if they were done at too high a temperature it weakened the wheel and caused this.

Thats what im putting it down to, rotas FTMFW :rockon:

My rotas have hit some crators in the roads and are completely fine. Alot of bollocks and as said, can happen to any alloy.

This is a pic i took up at the snowman rally in inverness at the weekend..... Mind you he did hit a mahoosive rock!

Think they're only at risk of breaking if your using them for prolonged track use etc, as far as im aware it's because under heavy braking the wheel will get hot, then cool, heat and so on... which I guess is what causes them to break.

Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong though!
