ALL the great engine's out there and you pick a YB:p,

I know someone local that has a YB in the front of a Mk1 Fiesta, FWD aswell.

Of course it can be done, just depends on how much you know.

Gaz - You know the YB is special. :D

yeah they can run big power 700+bhp, but you gotta spend BUCK'S on them to get anywhere near what a jap engine can do

if you wanna do it chap go for it, but 6 month's down the line when you have had 3 rebuild's and 10 HG'S, you will think to yourself and say why did'nt i go jap:haha:

^^^
or buy a house with the money you spent forging and fabricating a yb powered fwd (that will struggle to get off the line) glanza V

mate james is running 498, and my mate peter is running 540 on his yb no problem, if your long stud a yb, theres no reason the HG should blow,

Plus YB with a chip is 300hp, and there so easy to work on, ok jap is better no doubt about that, but the YB no matter what anyone says is an awesome engine!! lol

Mates petes cos http://pistonheads.com/sales/1434978.htm

your missing my point, 4e, quite abit of work getting them to 300hp, with alot a stress on the 1.3 engine, YB 2ltr, 300hp chip, not alot of stress on the engine... i didn't say i wanted 400-500+, was just explaining to gaz_ep85? that the engines are not as bad as he making them out to be! 10(HG) ect ect, if your no some one whos done 10(hg) in 6 months on the cossie, there doing something wrong lol

:haha::haha:, was only joking bout all that stuff dude, there would be a fair amount of fab to get the yb to sit in there, custom mount's driveshaft's, wiring etc, i would rather build a 4e or 5e any day then take on a project like that,

would be cool to see one in there tho:rockon:

^^^coming for the guy building a rotory engined ep82 lmao :D but same would rather build a 5e and push 300bhp without any issues and for a fraction of the cost bud, but im not trying to put you off it would be different thats for sure, just a very costly project :)

Lads do you no the white (94) gt4 corolla that finsport done sum years ago?well my m8 has that now OMG sum car But get to the point is it hard to do with the glanza and what would i have to do to get it runing???:drive:

YB parts are not a problem, my mate dom is a cossie boy, knows the YB engine inside out, and he could make me the loom no probs, mate petes, runs ABC motorsport cosworth lads, with every part sitting on the shelf... lol

we had been thinking about making a custom belhousing to still run the glanza box/shafts ect, I was just seeing if its been done be for, to find out some infoo lol
