Been entertaining day with this lot.

Ordered Oil via Opie Oils and these bunch of halfwits deliver it ... well minus the deliver part.

Heard my letter box go so i went down stairs and low and beyond there is a Fail delivery note lying on my door matt. Guy came to my door, wrote a re-delivery letter and pissed off. Never knocked my door, never used my letterbox and more frustratingly never used my door bell :mad:.

So i wrote this following email to them:

I am writing this email with massive frustration and anger after hearing something being posted through my letterbox. It turns out the item posted through my letterbox was a Fail Delivery Note.

Now i would like to understand why your Driver thinks its appropriate not to ring my door bell? The door bell is visable at the side of the door and is illuminated also ... ? I would also like to understand why he never rattled my letterbox? Now i need to arrange Re-delivery of this item that i have been waiting 7 days for all because of the incompetence of your driver to use there COMMON SENCE. The door bell is there for a reason and its to alert everyone in the house that someone is at the door. I sincerely hope your driver has a clear understanding of what a door bells purpose is and that should be the first protocol tried to alert the home owners of someones presence at there household. I dont believe its a new invention or one that was only created a few days ago, i also dont believe i am the first home owner to have a door bell fitted to there property.

After your driver left my property, i went outside my house ... rang the door bell and you can quite loudly hear my door bell is in operation.

I received a call back saying do i want re-delivery which i refused. They also added they tried to deliver it yesterday even though he never left a note and i was in all day again. So i got passed through to complaints and while i was complaining the total idiot transferred me department to someone that had no idea of my issue. Yet again i was left to explain and FINALLY i got it arranged to go down and collect tommorrow, 50miles away!

I dont want a re-delivery from someone that has never seen or used a door bell before! Really scares me about this guys intelligence.

i had the same problem when i ordered oil using opie oils the driver didnt try and deliver at my home address they tried to deliver it to my old place of work which then got refused as i no longer worked there. I then phoned them they couldnt really give a shit tbh.

they are pretty shockin mate had issues with them before an a mobile that was meant too be here on a certain day t a certain time, an then said no one was in.

after they looked intoo it turne out the cock had gone too the wrong house .

obviously they cant read the big numbers outside my house lol

They are one of the worst companies out there, had problems with them myself. i think they were feature on watchdog when the were HDNL aswell, their service is that poor they had to rebrand.
I cannot understand why companies use them when there are better companies out there who are as competitive for price.
