I am currently checking to change my front suspension (shocks / springs ) as the standard ones are finding it hard coping with the extra weight of the GT engine  so i checked at toyota and found a cheap option ' the aygo diesel version suspension' they use a different shock and spring as it carry the heavier 1.4 ltr turbo diesel engine .
There are not many options on the market for my car and if i go for an uprated set like koni it would still be for the 1.0ltr engine.
So do you guys think that the idea of the diesel version is good ? as they are pretty cheap too from toyota - For both front sides it would be 160 pounds = 208 euro not bad for toyota original parts i think :)
It's worth a shot - you don't have any other options really?
The springs should be tougher hence new shocks to control dampening.

Not only the springs are different even the shocks are
not much choice appart of coilovers but pricewise there is no comparison!

perhaps u should check if they are compatable with the yaris springs.. or any other model really.. that sucks dude not to find anything.. :(
but i think its worth a shot trying.. even though i doubt how stronger they are..

they're new shocks anyways, so deffo will last long enough to a point you get bored of you car. well crossed-fingers they will do the job well:)
as ppl hv said though, not many other options available, so I'd go along those lines and go to toyota !

Thats just springs , i need the shocks more than springs as the left front one is busted . I will check with toyota today regarding the TTE diesel springs (as they probably are on order like the standard diesel ones!)

I will not get bored with the car as it give you enough rush as it is let alone when boosted to 14 psi and then maybe change the turbo to a bigger one and then who knows go 5E in the Aygo it would be mental :p so there is no place for the word boring
