just had an orc 309d clutch fitted to the car. works exceptionally well once you get used to the extremely high bite. drove the car for around 4 days without any incident. now however i have a problem. when the car is started there is quite a large vibration that goes away when it is driven. but when you let off the throttle the vibration comes back. any help or ideas as to the cause of this as i really am all out of ideas.

Where is the vibration? In the clutch pedal? Accelerator pedal?

sounds like it could be the clutch not centralised or the flywheel surface is not flat, when u took the box off was there any random scuff marks around the flywheel. i may not be as the vibration would usually happen under acceleration but dont rule it out though.

when the clutch is under load theres no funny vibrations at all. seems to be localised on the right side of the car. when the throttle is eased off theres a vibration that persists until throttle is loaded again. sometimes it dont happen.

sounds like what turboflow said, clutch not centralised perfectly
