How many Power with Automatic

I´m interested about more Power in my 96 Glanza Automatic but the question is how many Power can i build in before the Autobox pulverizes? Are there some upgrades available for the Autobox?

there isnt a benchmark because nobody yet has taken it very far, but people have used 200hp with not many problems!

Ok thats fine and i think 200hp are enough for me.
I think that Toyota Autogearboxes are high quality. Is that right?

it really depends, like i said not many people have taken it over 200hp yet for a long period of time so we dont really know

Hm ok i think the Power must be staying about the Costs so i think a little modification is good but i dont spend thousands of money for tune up the Glanza so we so many Cars wich crying for Love and Money :-)

It's all about taking care of the automatic transmission as far as we can see.

If you treat it well it should withstand the extra power fine. The current highscore is 200bhp from YBY (one of the TGTT foundling members) and that was a few years back with the UK's first TD04 conversion.

I think Kelly is running the most confirmed power at the minute (179bhp) and there's a few more of us pushing the autobox as well. :)
