I am going to be cobbling together a filter relocation kit for the Glanza but what filter would you suggest I use. Its going to be up front and I have removed the aircon. I have found some samco and ali pipe on ebay but would like ideas on the actual filter.
Cheers.

Ill be using a HKS filter from a skyline for mine (alot smaller) but alot of people go for the Power Enterprise which is meant to be a v good filter.... would go for one of them as youve got the room for it with air con removed :)

get a green cotton power flow filter. I did exactly the same on my v mate, 90degree alloy pipe 30cm long, 90degree sillicone hose reducer. Job done.

I've got a power enterprise on mine which is relocated to the front bumper. First of all i had a meshed turbo and it wasnt boosting much but as soon as i put the air filter on and relocated it to the front bumper it boosted fine. Would defo recommend the power enterprise. You should just hope you dnt get too much boost creep and start smashing into fuel cut :(

i tried a bunch of different flters but they were all to big to fit between the fmic and rad so ended up using a small k&n filter.

i used green cotton filter with 50mm outlet, 30cm long 90degree 50mm alloy pipe, and a 50mm-40mm 90degree sillicone reducer bend,

but do measure the size of your turdo inlet to get the correct reducer :) also check the outlet size of the filter you will use as blitz for example have a mahoosive outlet take that into account and alter acordingly,

you then fit the 90degree reducer first to the turbo inlet, then the alloy pipe to that and finally the filter to the pipe, if you wish to do this with a small hks style to keep aircon you would need to replace the 90degree alloy pipe with a stright alloy pipe approx 15-20cm long :D

hope that helps

i used the rubber fitment off the efi pipe and ran reinforced ducting along my front mount piping and located the filter alongside the core itself. very easy route. I still have ac 2! I used an hks mushroom.

Have a look at a Pipercross trumpet sock, fits directly over the pipe and is black and weatherproof.

have a look here, 60mm internal diameter.

Best to chain drill around the pipe under where the filter sits to allow maximum air inlet.
